Joy's Introduction
Joy loves the art of embroidery and digital printing.
My name is Joy Fleming. I am the owner of Stitchworks. My grandmother loves to sew and hand embroidery. She brought me to the stitching world. I remember I embroidered my first pillowcase by hand when I was eight years old. The colorful thread and beautiful design made a plain white pillowcase so unique and special.
When I was in college, I got a part time job to help with machine embroidery. This led me to a brand new world of embroidery. New technology is so powerful. Computer digitizing and high-tech embroidery machine make everything possible. I loved the job and I dreamed I would be able to have my own embroidery machine one day.
After I graduated from school and got a job, with my family’s support, my dream became true. Embroidery became my hobby. After a period time of practicing, I wish I would be able to share the beautiful embroidery art. I started the business about five years ago and designed business logo by myself. The logo with four heart-shaped happy faces means to embroider anything with my heart and bring all the joy and good fortune to my customers.
Last year, I added digital printing to my business. This new technology brings garment printing to a new level. Colorful pictures would be able to be printed to the fabric directly. It is amazing. It helps me to provide more and more great services to my customers.
